Rialto Market Food Tour

This tour will take you to Rialto, one of the most ancient areas of Venice and home to the most important luxury goods market in Europe during the Middle Ages. We will visit the market and discover the fruits and vegetables of Sant ’Erasmo Island and the amazing fish of the Adriatic Sea. We will also learn about the historical commercial district of Rialto, its banks and shops. We will then stop at a typical Venetian bacaro for some delicious cicchetti and a glass of wine or spritz and learn about the food culture of Venice. We will then cross the Rialto Bridge and finish the tour with a delicious dessert.
